Quantum computing: Chattanooga’s technological future, ‘out of the tube’

Business Insider writes about the ever-approaching reality of quantum computing for the business industry. This new innovation will perform like the artificial intelligence we are used to —only faster and at a much larger scale. However, unlike AI, which uses existing data from other websites to generate outcomes, a quantum computer solves problems from scratch. Regarding quantum’s futuristic impact, Chattanooga MayorTim Kelly tells Business Insider that “the toothpaste is not going back in the tube.” With a quantum computer already being constructed here in the city, he hopes that this new technology will fundamentally change the way business operates in the community.
